x + y = 200

x : y = 4 : 6

x + y = 200

y = 200 - x

x : y = 4 : 6

x : (200 - x) = 4 : 6

6.x = 4(200 - x)

6x = 800 - 4x

10x = 800

x = 800/10

x = 80

y = 200 - x

y = 200 - 80

y = 120
