Answer:

Comedy makes you happy or laugh.

Tragedy makes you sad or cry.

A tragedy has a sad and a melancholy ending, while a comedy has a happy and vigorous ending. The plot of a tragedy is marked with a series of actions that happened to the protagonist; thus, evoking a sense of fear and sympathy in the audience (like a death of someone.) Whereas a comic plot often creates laughter, in the audience.

Comedy and tradegy both came from ancient Greece but comedy is a humorous story with a happy ending while a tragedy is a serious story with a sad ending.
