A nuclear family consists of:
- a father, a mother, and their biological children under age 18 living in one household.
- a father, a mother, and their biological children of any age living in one household.
- one parent and that parent's biological children under age 18 living in one household.
- a father, a stepmother, and the father's biological children under age 18 living in one household.
