due to the rules of crossing lines, z = 5x + 69

and all angles on one side of a line sum up to 180 degrees.

so,

5x + 69 + 15x - 29 = 180

20x + 40 = 180

x + 2 = 9

x = 7

z = 5x + 69 = 5×7 + 69 = 35 + 69 = 104 degrees
