Explanation:

We're basically just adding the two equations together

(x² - 3x + 2) + (3x² + 5x + 2)

x² - 3x + 2 + 3x² + 5x + 2

You can rearrange the like terms closer if you want

x² + 5x² + 5x - 3x + 2 + 2

4x² + 2x + 4

This can be the answer but we can also keep going

You can factor out the 2
