What happens when HIV causes AIDS?

A.Enough helper T cells have died that they cannot activate the immune response.
B. An HIV-infected mother gives birth to her baby.
C.CD8 cytotoxic cells do not secrete enough enzymes.

Answer is : A, why it’s because hiv when it’s in your body it attaches to t-cells, because of the simple fact that hiv can’t reproduce itself so it has found that attaching itself to the T-cells is more efficient in infecting the body, which further down the line turns into aids if the hiv is not treated ( the immune system is too weak) HIV kills billions of infection killing cells.
