Answer:

Solution given:

(x_1,y_1)=(-1,4)

(x_2,y_2)=(2,3)

Now

distance between two end points:

d=
√((x_2-x_1)²+(y_2-y_1)²)

d=
√((2+1)²+(3-4)²)=√(9+1)=√(10)

we have

perimeter of Pentagon: 5d=5
√(10)

Find the length of the side using the distance formula

Length = sqrt((x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2)

Length = sqrt((2- -1)^2 + (3-4)^2

Length = sqrt(10)

The length of the side is sqrt(10)

A pentagon has 5 equal sides. Multiply the length of the side by 5

Answer: 5sqrt(10)
