A essay about the Odyssey that shows Odysseus showing Hubris and how he changed over the book. Just mostly showing him being prideful but motivated by his family to get home.

For hubris use book 9, perfect example of how his arrogance led to his voyages downfall… being he disclosed his identity to the Cyclopes unnecessarily, fully knowing that he was a son of Poseidon, which later led to their voyage getting cursed.

For the section where you will discuss his motivation to get home, use the section from book 11 where he goes to the underworld and sees his mother, who tells him about his father who is isolated and depressed on Ithaca. It makes him realize his family needs him.
