+2x +2x

12=5x-3

+3 +3

15=5x

3=x

i don't know if they also want you to substitute, bu if they do continue the problem

2(6-x)=3(x-1)

2(6-3)=3(3-1)

2(3)=3(2)

6=6

X=3, 2(6-3)=3(x-1) , then that simplifies to 2(3)=3(2) , 6=6
