What came first, the chicken or the egg?

My personal pick is the chicken(s), as it produced egg's creating more chickens. But you do need a male and a female chicken to produce fertile and hatching eggs. If the egg came first, then where would it have come from?

I think the egg definitely came first. I mean where else could the chicken have come from?

Egg go hatch, and then the egg come out of hatch, then Chicken appear
