Slope of first graph (-3+8)/(-5+10) = 5/5 = 1
Slope of second graph = 4

Answer:

The slope of Function A is less than the slope of Function B.

Explanation:

Using the slope formula:

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

and the following ordered pairs from Function A:

(x1, y1) = (-5, -3)

(x2, y2) = (-10, -8)

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

m = (-8 - (-3))/(-10 - (-5)) = (-8 +3)/(-10+5) = (-5)/(-5) = 1

Since Function A's slope = 1, and Function B's slope = 4, then it means that the slope of Function A is lesser than the slope of Function B.
