You are a reporter for your school paper, interviewing a faculty member. In response to the question, the faculty member offers to give you an answer only if it's off the record. What should you do? Why?

You should deny receiving the answer. It may be inappropriate and you do not want to get in to trouble. You should ask them to tell you an on the record question and if they don't thank them for their time and leave the interview. You should also let your teacher know.
