You see how the a is labeled a = 2 and b = 3
place those where the letters go and add them up. for example a = 4 and b = 3. Well then A would be 4 and B Would be 3. It would look like this (4+3)2. so add those together and it would give you 7 then just multiply by 2. Which gives you 14. Hope to help :)))
