Why are 4^0 and (-4)^0 is equal to 1,while -4^0 is equal to -1

Explanation:

According to the zero property of exponents, any number (other than 0) raised to the power of zero is always equal to 1.

The problem with this question is the simple fact that in this format it is confusing.

So, -(4^0) = -1 × (4^0) = -1x1 = -1

and, (-4)^0 =1
