Answer:

ED's can cause a variety of physical problems, both minor and major. Some of the more obvious physical symptoms include dry skin, muscle loss, brittle hair and nails, and extreme thinness. However, ED's can lead to other health problems as Type II diabetes and pancreatitis. ED's can also have long-term bodily consequences, such as:

  • heart issues
  • dehydration and malnutrition
  • slowed brain function
  • gastroparesis
  • hypothermia
  • etc.

Eating disorders are often accompanied by psychological issues such as distorted thoughts, compulsive behaviors, low self-esteem, s*lf-h*rm, anxiety, despair, social isolation, and a risk of su*c*de, in addition to their physical repercussions.
