Answer:

y-2 = -2(x+4)

or

y = -2x-6

Explanation:

We can use the point slope form of a line

y-y1 = m(x-x1) where m is the slope and (x1,y1) is a point on the line

y - 2 = -2(x- -4)

y-2 = -2(x+4)

If we want the equation in slope intercept form

Distribute

y-2 = -2x-8

Add 2 to each side

y-2+2 = -2x-8+2

y = -2x-6
