Answer: y= -3x + 16

Explanation:

I'm assuming that you mean a linear equation

So the first thing that you want to do is find the slope for the line.

1-(-2) / -3 - 6= -9/3= -3

Now that you have the slope you can pick one of the points to plug in.

-2 = -3(6) + b

We don't know what the y intercept is so we'll need to solve for that.

-2= -18 + b

add -18 to -2

16=b

so your equation will be

y= -3x + 16
