1. Refer to the equation 2x − 4y = 12.

(a) Create a table of values for at least 4 points. Show your work on how you found the values for each coordinate pair, and validated the points were on the line.

First, you rearrange the equation to = y.

Next, you choose a set of 4 points as your x values.

Then, plug in your x values to the rearranged equation (which I boxed in). What results are your corresponding y values.

Lastly, to check work plug in your x and corresponding y values to the original equation to make sure they all = 12.
