Here, we are given with ;

{:\implies \quad \sf (3x^(2)-7x)-(4x^(2)+6x)}

Opening parentheses will yield;

{:\implies \quad \sf 3x^(2)-7x-4x^(2)-6x}

Collecting like terms ;

{:\implies \quad \sf (3x^(2)-4x^(2))+(-7x-6x)}

{:\implies \quad \sf -x^(2)-13x}

Hence, the required answer is - x² - 13x

Answer:

(3 {x}^(2) - 7x) - (4 {x}^(2) + 6x) \\ \longrightarrow \: \: 3 {x}^(2) - 7x - 4 {x}^(2) - 6x \\ \longrightarrow \: \: {3x}^(2) - {4x}^(2) - 7x - 6x \\ \longrightarrow \: \: - {x}^(2) - 13x \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:
