Water moves into the roots of the soil by osmosis, due to the low solute potential in the roots.
Root hair cells absorb the water
After its absorbed water then goes through the Cortex
Including the endodermis
Before it can reach the xylem
The xylem transports it to wherever necessary.
Then Water moves towarss more negative water potential.
