Solve for x:

Add 4 to both sides-

5/6x - 4 = 6

+4 +4

5/6x = 10

Now divide 5/6 on both sides-

(5/6)/(5/6) = 10/(5/6)

x = 12

hope this helps !!

Answer:

x=12

Explanation:

so first you add 4 to both sides:

(5)/(6)x - 4 = 6

+4 +4

=
(5)/(6)x = 10

now you divide 10 by
(5)/(6) or you can flip the fraction upside down and multiply it by 10:

(6)/(5) × 10 =
(60)/(5) = 12

x = 12
