His right to freedom of speech was violated constantly, resulting in him to get arrested, threatened, bombed, and even stabbed. He was targeted by people who didn’t want change. They wanted things to stay the way they were, where segregation was enforced, and the inequality of races continued. Although he was a subject to violence all his life, he never gave up and his dream impacted the world and became a reality.
