If a and b are to be parallel then that would mean that 4x + 2x = 180 because together they form a line and a line is 180 degrees
Solving the equation:
4x + 2x = 180
6x = 180 Combine like terms
X = 30 Divide 6 from both sides
Answer:
x = 30
