Please help me out with this question I am trying to review!!

Where can parentheses be places in the expression so that it has a value of 500?

6+2^3-4x3

(The 2 is to the third power)

(6+2)^3-4*3

Explanation:

Try parentheses in different positions until you get the right answer.

This works:

(6+2)^3-4*3 = 8^3 - 4 * 3 = 512 - 12 = 500
