The two points are (1, -4) and (-1, 2)

(-1, 2) = Point 1

(1, -4) = Point 2

We can see the line is going down so the slope is negative

Point 1 goes down by 6 units and moves right by 2 units to get to Point 2


Slope=-(6)/(2) =-3
