Traditionally there has been a distinction made between "art" and "craft." Do you agree that works such as those in clay, glass, wood, fibers, and other materials, typically with a practical use, should be categorized separately, that is, are they distinct from sculptures cast in metal or carved in marble? Why or why not?

no, they shouldn't as they are all carved or created works from a raw material that was honed into a shape or form
