PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!

The Supreme Court refuses to allow cameras in the courtroom for oral arguments, so although the public can hear audio recordings of oral arguments, we can't watch them. What do you think would change if people could watch the justices during oral arguments? How important is it to be able to watch versus just being able to listen, in your opinion?

Over the years, justices have given many reasons for banning cameras. Among them: the Court needs to preserve its tradition; people will not understand the function of oral arguments; the media will use embarrassing sound bites; and cameras will encourage showboating.
