What you"re trying to do is make the products and reactants have the same amount of elements. Like in your question when we had the Nitrogens there was one on the reactant side and two on the product side. I know it will cause you to make the other elements uneven, but it is honestly a trial and error thing. I use the chart method it helps, and practicing will help you do it faster.
