Answer:

There are 0 solutions to this question

Explanation:

This is how I got the answer:

2x + 5 = 2(x + 3)

2x +5 = 2x + 6

Subtract 2x from the right and 5 from the left

From doing that you end up with 0x = 1

Whatever you put for x it will never equal 1, it will always equal 0

This is the reason why there will be 0 or no solutions

Answer:

no solutions

Explanation:

2x + 5 = 2(x + 3) ← distribute parenthesis

2x + 5 = 2x + 6 ( subtract 5 from both sides )

2x = 2x 1 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

0 = 1 ← False statement

This indicates the equation has no solution
