Area of circle= Pie x r^2
A= 3.14x6x6= 113.04 cm^2

Circumference of circle= 2 x pie x r
C= 2x3.14x6= 37.68 cm

Diameter =12cm

Answer:

Area:
36\pi\ cm^2 OR
113.04\ cm^2

Circumference:
12\pi OR
37.68

Diameter: 12cm

Radius: 6 cm

Explanation:

  • Area of a circle:
    \pi r^2
  • Circumference of a circle:
    2\pi r
  • Diameter of a circle: 12 cm
  • Radius of a circle: d/2 (12/2 = 6 cm)

  • \pi =3.14

Area of a circle:
\pi r^2

\pi *6^2\\\pi *36\\36\pi\ cm^2 OR
36*3.14=113.04\ cm^2 (either one is the answer)

Circumference of a circle:
2\pi r

2\pi r\\2*\pi*6\\12\piOR
12*3.14=37.68 (either one is the answer)

Hope this helps!
