Answer:

since the equation of the line is perpendicular to y (m2= -1/m1)

using the formula y=mx+c

m1=1/9

since m2 = -1/m1

m2= -1/1/9

m2 = -9

The other line passing through (3,7) has a slope of -9

using the formula

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-7= -9(x-3)

y-7= -9x+27

y= -9x +27+7

y= -9x +34(equation of the line)
