I really need help on finding out the answer to 4(3x-6)+16<-32

x is LESS THAN -3.

Explanation:

You are solving for x

As well as verifying whether or not the inequality is correct but first get x

4(3x-6)+16 < -32

12x -24 + 16 < -32 Distribute the 4 to the parentheses

12x -8 < -32 Commutative property

12x < -32 + -8 Add the -8 to the other side

12x < -40 Divide the 12 to both sides

12 12

x < -3.333 repeated

No idea as to why the answer is decimal and have no idea if that is allowed but basically x is LESS THAN -3.
