Kaj has two summer jobs. During the week she works in the grocery store, and on the weekend she works at a nursery. She gets paid $20 per hour to work at the grocery store and $19 per hour to work at the nursery. How much does she earn if she works 9 hours at the grocery store and 6 hours at the nursery? How much does she earn if she works gg hours at the grocery store and nn hours at the nursery?

Answer:

$294

Explanation:

grocery store: 9 hours at $20=20 x 9= $180 altogether

nursery: 6 hours at $19 an hour= 3 x 19= $57 x 2= $114 altogether

180 + 114= $ 294

as for part B= I don't know what that means

Answer:

She earns $180 at the grocery store and $144 at the nursery is for the first part. Is the second part simplifying? Because if so it would be $20g and $19n.
