What are the measures of Angles a, b, and c? Show your work and explain your answers. Two straight lines intersect at a point to form angle a. The measure of the angle opposite to angle a is 35 degrees. Angle a is the angle of a right triangle having another angle equal to b. A triangle with one angle labeled c is on the left of the figure. The angle adjacent to c is labeled 70 degrees.

Answer:

The measures of A, B, and C are 35 degrees, 55 degrees, and 110 degrees. For A, the angle of 35 degrees is in an X formation, which means that the angles at the top and bottom are the same, and the angles at the left and right are also the same, In this case, A would be equivalent to 35 degrees. Using the right triangle for angle B, we already know two angles of the right triangle; angle A (35 degrees) and the right angle (90 degrees) if we added both of these angles, then we would get 125 degrees. Then, we would need to subtract 180 - 125 and would get 55 degrees. For angle c, there is a straight line that uses Angle C and a 70-degree angle. A straight line is equal to 180 degrees, so we subtract 180 degrees by 70 to get us 110 degrees.
