so taking 'b' as base, 'a' as perpendicular and 'c' is hypotenuse which is equal to 13cm

and 1 angle is given which 22.6 degrees

and we need to find out 'b' which is AC

so we have

sin(x)= perpendicular/hypotenuse

cos(x)= base/hypotenuse

tan(x)=perpendicular/base

cos(22.6) = base/hypotenuse=13

cos(22.6)*13 = base

0.9232*13 = base

base = 12cm
