Answer:

y = 2/3x + 4

Explanation:

so we already know the y intercept is 4 so lets put that in the equation

y = mx + 4

now we use the equation y2 - y1 / x2 - x1 to find the slope

lets use the points (-6, 0) and (3, 6)

6 - 0 / 3 - (-6)

6 / 9

2/3

the equation is

y = 2/3x + 4

check:

lets use the point (6, 8)

substitute:

8 = 2/3(6) + 4 ?

8 = 4 +4?

8 = 8
