Find the slope of the line joining the points (2, 5) and (3, 1)​

slope = -4

Explanation:

The formula for finding slope is (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

x1 = 2

y1 = 5

x2 = 3

y2 = 1

Plugging in our numbers,

(1 - 5)/(3 - 2) = -4/1

= -4

Slope = change in Y / change in x


slope = (1-5) /(3-2)

Slope = -4/1

Slope = -4
