I believe your answer is:

Addition Property Of Equality

»»————- ★ ————-««

Here’s why:

⸻⸻⸻⸻

  • The property shown was the addition property of equality.
  • The addition property of equality states that if we add a number to both sides of a given equation it would remain equal.

⸻⸻⸻⸻

x - 2 = 3\\\rule{150}{0.5}\\\rightarrow x - 2 + 2 = 3 + 2\\\\\rightarrow \boxed{x =5}

⸻⸻⸻⸻

Hope this helps you. I apologize if it’s incorrect.

Substitution because you already know what x is equal all you have to do is substitute x for 5.
