Your sister is considering two different shapes for her garden. 1 is a square with side lengths of 3.5 M and the other is a circle with a diameter of 4. I need to find area of the square and the area of the circle.

Answer:

12.25 M^2(square) 12.56 M^2(circle)

Explanation:

side of square= 3.5 M

area of square garden= side*side

=3.5*3.5

=12.25 M^2

Diameter of circle=4 M

Radius of circle=Diameter/2

=4/2

=2

Area of circle garden= 2(pi)r^2(where r is radius)

=3.14*2*2

=12.56 M^2
