If B is between A and C, and AB=3x+1, BC=2x-7, and AC=24, then find the value of x and the value of AB
let assume AC is straight line and B is on line
AB + BC = AC
3x+1 +2x -7 = 24
5x -6 = 24
5x = 30
x = 6
