Answer:

Why would you consider yourself to be optimistic or pessimistic?

I, personally would consider myself to be a optimistic person because I often look on the positive side, and just happy generally.

Define both

An optimistic type of person is more outgoing and cheery, whereas a pessimistic person is often negative and lacking happiness.

Example

An example of pessimistic is seeing a glass half empty rather than half full. An optimistic person would see vice versa.

Which one is better?

Obviously an optimistic person is better.

Explain why

Who wants to be around someone that's negative and just never happy? This is exactly what a pessimistic person is like, which nobody would like to be near.

Answer:

I would fall under optimistic probably because I always like to look at the bright side of something. Optimism is when you look at the bright side first, while pessimism is when you look at the darker side first. For example, being optimistic is like almost tripping and saying, " At least I didn't trip." Being pessimistic would be like, " I almost tripped and I could have broke something. Why is my life so bad?" I think being optimistic is better because you simply be happier and enjoy your life more. Step-by-step explanation:
