To find the slope pick ANY 2 points on the line and see what you had to do to get from one point to another point.

Keep in mind that slope = rise/run , or m = difference in y /difference in x

For example, Start at (0,0) and Go to (6,-3)

To get from one point to the other you have to go up 6 and left 3 so slope is

m=6/-3 = -2
