Find the value of x and y in equation.​

  • 5x-3y=11---(1)
  • 3x+4y=4---(2)

(1)×3 and (2)×5

  • 15x-9y=33-(3)
  • 15x+20y=20-(4)

Subtract both


\\ \sf\longmapsto -29y=13


\\ \sf\longmapsto y=(-13)/(29)

  • Put in eq(1)


\\ \sf\longmapsto 5x+(-117)/(29)=11


\\ \sf\longmapsto 5x=11+(117)/(29)=(261+117)/(29)=(278)/(29)


\\ \sf\longmapsto x=(278)/(145)
