Part to part ratio

For 2 oranges and five bananas

2oranges:5bananas(2:5)

Part to whole ratio

2oranges:7pieces of fruit(2:7)

5bananas:7pieces of fruit (5:7)

All the best!

Part to part ratio is oranges to bananas, so: 2:5

Part to whole ratio is oranges to all fruits or bananas to all fruits.
Oranges to all fruits would be 2:7
Bananas to all fruits would be 5:7

Hope that makes sense
