\\ \rm\Rrightarrow Molarity=(Moles\:of\:solute)/(Volume\:of\: solution \:in\:L)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 1=(n)/(0.5)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow n=0.5mol

  • Molar mass of NaOH=23+16+1=40u

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow n=(Given\:mass)/(Molar\:mass)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 0.5=(Given\:mass)/(40)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow Given\:mass=40(0.5)=20g
