Choice B
First make an equation for both rules.
Rule 1: y=5x
Rule 2: y= x+12
Then plug in each ordered pot to find which one works
Choice A (5,25)
Rule 1: 25=5(5)
25=25
Rule 2: 25=5+12
25=17
Choice a works for rule 1 but not rule 2 therefore it does not work
Choice b (3,15)
Rule1: 15=3(5)
15=15
Rule 2: 15=12+3
15=15
Choice be works works for both equations therefore it is the answer
Choice c (0,12)
Rule 1: 12=5(0)
12=0
Rule 2: 12=12+0
12=12
Choice c works for rule 2 but not 1 do it cannot be the answer.
