A man uses 2/5of his piece of land to keep poultry,1/4 for bulls, 1/7 of the remainder for goats and test for sheep.If he uses 12 acres for goats, determine the total acreage he uses for sheep. (3marks)​

Simplifying the expression 1-13/20 gets 7/20, which is the total fraction of land the goat and sheep has. The goat will then get 7/20*1/7 of the whole land, which is 1/20. The sheep will then get 7/20*6/7 of the entire land, which is 3/10. Because 1/20 of the whole land is 12 acres, the farmer has 240 acres. SImplifying the expression 240*3/10 gets 72 acres
