In the given figure, let the third angle of the triangle be x

From Angle sum property of a triangle, we know that :

  • x + 80° + 50° = 180°

  • x + 130° = 180°

  • x = 180° - 130°

  • x = 50°

so, the third angle will be 50°

and as we can observe here, the third angle of the triangle is equal to (3c + 2)° by vertical opposite angle pair.

so,

  • 3c + 2° = 50°

  • 3c = 50° - 2°

  • 3c = 48°

  • c = 48° ÷ 3

  • c = 16°

hence, value of c = 16°
