1: expand the bracket by multiplying the 7(x-3) and 4(x+5)
2:take away the smallest x, which is 4x
then you’re left with
3x-21=20
3: add the -21 to the other side of = sign
you’re left with 3x=41
4: divide by 3
5: x=13.6667
