Step-by-step explanation:

Gravitational force or force of gravity is the weakest force in the universe. It is a non contact force and is always attractive in nature.

Force of gravity always acts in the downward direction.

It is denoted by letter g.

examples of force of gravity are as follows :-

  • When a ball is thrown from the top of a roof it always goes downwards due force of gravity.
  • When a ball is suspended with an inextensible string the ball's weight act download direction due to the formula of W = mg.
  • The force that causes a car to coast downhill even when you aren't stepping on the gas.
  • The force that causes a glass you drop to fall to the floor.
  • The force that holds the gases in the sun.

hope this helps you.
